Prior to becoming a Realtor, Tom was an inventory planner for Duty Free Shops, a division of Luis Vuitton/Moet Hennessey. In his role with DFS, he managed a $65.0M cosmetics business in 8 different countries. Managing a retail business required superior skills as a marketer and trend analyst. The ability to identify and capitalize on current market trends has allowed Tom to deliver superior results to both his buyers and sellers.
Working with buyers, Tom asks all the right questions prior to submitting an offer; starting with making sure that his clients aren’t over-extending themselves or otherwise getting involved in a project that’s beyond their “handyman” skills or budget. Tom’s experience in remodeling his own home brings a knowledge base to the process not often seen with other agents. When a buyer says, “We want to write an offer”, Tom immediately begins the process of identifying potential issues that may not be readily apparent. Tom takes very seriously the role of protecting his buyers.
On the listing side, the use of social media and online advertising have become key components of successfully marketing and selling a listing for the highest and best price in the shortest period of time. Tom aggressively utilizes such media for his sellers. Once an offer is received, Tom leans on his negotiating skills and focuses on ensuring that the offer price is the same as the price at the time of closing. Tom’s number one responsibility to his sellers is protecting their hard earned money.
“It’s in the details.” Tom’s focus and approach to each transaction ensures that every possibility is explored. He takes pride in identifying various positive approaches to the negotiations that are a part of every real estate transaction. His fresh ideas and perspective produce unparalleled results and winning solutions to the most challenging negotiations.
Tom welcomes the opportunity to put his experience to work for his clients each and every day.
